I will be cooking every Friday night at my apartment in Manhattan.
I am offering a truly fun experience at a typical Brazilian weekend get together: caipirinhas and feijoada!
Feijoada is considered to be Brazil's national dish. It's black beans stewed with pork bits that are smoked or salted. It comes from our African heritage. It's homestyle food at its best! It is accompanied by white rice, farofa (yucca flour and bacon), collard greens and sliced oranges.
I will serve the food exactly how we do in Brazil: family style, everyone is free to serve themselves in a informal and fun atmosphere.
My apartment is set in Manhattan's Upper West Side with a Hudson River view. It's got an open kitchen and a great balcony.
You can come alone, with your family or friends.
Feel free to bring your own bottle of any drink.
Please arrive between 6:00 and 7:00 pm... you don't want to miss the sunset in my balcony.
There's parking space in my street, as well as 3 different parking lots.
Events are BYOB
It's a non-smoking apartment, please, be considerate of that.
